ESPN’s David Pollack thinks Wisconsin has a chance to make a big move up the College Football Playoff rankings.
While on SportsCenter, Pollack said Wisconsin’s current position at No. 9 in the AP Poll is interesting. Looking at the Badgers’ schedule, Pollack doesn’t see much of a challenge. Or at least no real challenge until Michigan comes to Madison, Wis., on Nov. 18.
“I think where Wisconsin’s positioned right now is very interesting because I think you’re going to see Wisconsin at some point in the season in the top 4,” Pollack said. “Look at their schedule. Where is there a loss for them? Until November 18, where is there a challenge for them?”
Pollack said Wisconsin, which went 11-3 last season and finished ranked No. 9, said the Badgers can get into the top 4 playoff spots without having to prove much. Wisconsin does travel to BYU and also plays against Northwestern and at Nebraska, but the Badgers might not play a ranked team until the Michigan game.
