Danny Kanell and Booger McFarland appear to be in an ongoing Twitter feud. And they’re using their takes to take shots at each other.
Two weeks ago, Kanell had Alabama ranked No. 5 in the country, and McFarland clapped back pretty hard. Then McFarland went after Kanell again, when he compared Alabama’s game against LSU to Troy’s game against LSU.
Then on Tuesday night, McFarland made the point that a two-loss Auburn team controls its own destiny of getting into the College Football Playoff than an undefeated Wisconsin.
Wednesday morning, Kanell responded, with some particularly critical words.
Any talk of Wisconsin not making playoff as an undefeated big champ is asinine. If you don’t think they’re in u should not be allowed to talk CFB

Kanell has a reputation as being an SEC troll, but he is correct here. An unbeaten Wisconsin, Big Ten champion Wisconsin would absolutely make the playoff. It might not be the No. 1 overall seed, like Florida State was in 2014, but the Badgers would definitely be in the playoff.
As for Kanell and McFarland, they’re two of the most prominent voices in college football. And while plenty of people have disagreements when taking about the sport, it’s rare to see it in such a public fashion.
