Stud Florida State safety Derwin James will likely enter the 2018 NFL Draft, but for what it’s worth, he said he would suit up for a bowl game this season if Florida State makes one.
This is noteworthy because we’ve seen top NFL prospects hold out of bowl games before – especially if they’re not particularly meaningful. Here’s what James had to say on the matter:
Derwin James said he didn’t know if Saturday will be his last game in Doak (it will be) but that he would definitely play in bowl game.

If the Seminoles beat Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday, they’ll earn their sixth win, which would make them bowl eligible. James has 72 tackles, 2 sacks and 1 interception on the season.
These are likely James’ last two college games. Enjoy him while you have him, Florida State fans.
