The SEC has the No. 1 team in the country but Danny Kanell believes the Big Ten is the better conference overall through Week 1.
The college football analyst revealed his conference power rankings after last week’s action and he has the Big Ten in the top spot, followed by the SEC, Pac-12, ACC and Big 12.

The SEC’s ranked teams went 5-1 in Week 1 but the lone loss was Florida’s defeat to Big Ten opponent Michigan. Alabama held onto the nation’s No. 1 spot by beating Florida State.
Meanwhile, the Big Ten’s ranked teams posted a 4-0 mark in convincing fashion, highlighted by No. 2 Ohio State defeating Indiana 49-21.
Kanell made headlines earlier in the week for crushing the Texas A&M regent who called for Kevin Sumlin’s job after the loss to UCLA.
