College football rankings: AP Poll, Coaches Poll Top 25

The college football rankings for both the AP Poll and Top 25 Coaches Poll are out for Week 2. Alabama is No. 1 in the Top 25 AP Poll and Coaches Poll. Ohio State held at No. 2, while Clemson is now No. 3 in both polls. Penn State jumped up to No. 4.

College Football Rankings: Coaches Poll Preseason Top 25

Here’s how the coaches voted in the USA Today/Amway Coaches Poll, which was revealed Aug. 3. Alabama got the No. 1 ranking by picking up 49 first-place votes. Defending champion Clemson got seven No. 1 votes but is only No. 5.
