College Football Playoff rankings schedule announced, will start Oct. 31

The first College Football Playoff rankings of the season will be announced on Halloween and continue on Tuesdays until the conference championship games.

The first top 25 rankings set after Week 9. For the first five weeks, each weekly ranking will be revealed Tuesday nights. But for selection day, the final top 25 will be announced Sunday, Dec. 3. All reveals will be aired on ESPN.

  • Tuesday, Oct. 31, 7-8 p.m. ET, ESPN
  • Tuesday, Nov. 7, 7-8 p.m., ESPN
  • Tuesday, Nov. 14, 9-9:30 p.m., ESPN*
  • Tuesday, Nov. 21, 7-8 p.m., ESPN
  • Tuesday, Nov. 28, 7-7:30 p.m., ESPN
  • Sunday, Dec. 3, 12-4 p.m., ESPN

*Approximate time, will be shown between the Duke-Michigan State and Kansas-Kentucky basketball games.

As for the CFP games, the semifinals will be played at the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl on January 1. The National Championship Game is then played in Atlanta on Monday, Jan. 8.
