Here’s a strange take from Colin Cowherd, a master of bizarre opinions.
On Tuesday, the Twitter account for The Herd with Colin Cowherd relayed a clip from the FOX Sports personality in which Cowherd made an odd statement about how the New England Patriots have a better chance of reaching the Super Bowl than Alabama winning a national title.
The meat of Cowherd’s argument is that the Crimson Tide will have four difficult games late in the season, with Alabama facing Auburn, then potentially Georgia in the SEC Championship Game before two huge contests as part of the College Football Playoff. (He predicts the Crimson Tide will play Clemson at some point.)
Problem is, the Patriots play in the NFL, which means there’s a huge game each week. (You won’t see a Mercer on New England’s schedule any time soon.) The comparison is confusing and ridiculous.
