No. 1 Clemson isn’t Vegas’ betting favorite to win the national championship

Clemson jumped up to No. 1 in the AP Top 25 and Amway Coaches Poll on Sunday.

However, Vegas still isn’t sold that the defending national champions will be repeating.

The Tigers now have 17-4 odds to win it all, according to Bovada,which is only good for a three-way tie for second-best (Alabama, Auburn) behind new favorite Oklahoma.

The Sooners have 4-1 odds to win the national championship.

Regardless of the odds, Clemson will be able to punch their ticket to the College Football Playoff and determine their own fate when they face No. 7 Miami on Dec. 2 in the ACC title game.

Clemson-Miami is slated for an 8 p.m. (EST) kickoff and will be televised on ABC.
