On the heels of LSU’s athletic director saying it’s unlikely that BYU and LSU play in Houston on Saturday, BYU has released its own statement on the game.
It stressed that its thoughts were those battling Hurricane Harvey. The school said it is in discussions with all parties involved and will provide information as it become available.

The Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans has emerged as a possible destination for the game. BYU cannot play the game on Sunday, due to its affiliation with the Church of Latter Day Saints. ESPN will have final say on the game. Kickoff is set for 9:30 p.m. on Saturday and the game is set to air on ESPN.
