Baker Mayfield’s stellar senior season not only has him in the mix to take home the Heisman Memorial Trophy, but another prestigious national award, as well.
On Wednesday morning, the finalists for the Walter Camp National Player of the Year award were announced and Mayfield is among the five still being considered. Along with Mayfield, Penn State running back Saquon Barkley, Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson, Stanford running back Bryce Love, and San Diego State running back Rashaad Penny were named as finalists.
