Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield will wrap up his final season in the Big 12 officially as the best offensive player in the conference.
The Big 12 announced Mayfield is the league’s Offensive Player of the Year on Thursday. It is Mayfield’s second time winning the honor.

Mayfield has thrown for 4,097 yards passing, 37 touchdowns and 5 interceptions this season. He has the Sooners a win away from a third-consecutive Big 12 title and a spot in the College Football Playoff.
Mayfield was the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year in 2015 after leading the Sooners to a conference crown and College Football Playoff berth.
Mayfield will play his final Big 12 game against TCU at 12:30 p.m. ET, Saturday, at AT&T Stadium in the revived Big 12 Championship Game.
