Austin Mack will start at WR for Ohio State against Indiana, his mom says

Austin Mack will start at wide receiver for Ohio State in the Buckeyes’ season opener against Indiana on Thursday, his mom revealed on Twitter.

This start will carry a special meaning for Mack, who will get to make his first college start in his home state. The former 4-star wide receiver recruit hails from Fort Wayne, Ind. He is entering his sophomore season, and will get to play a role in replenishing a position that saw its three biggest performers — Curtis Samuel, Noah Brown and Dontre Wilson — move on. Land of 10’s Jeremy Birmingham called Mack a “player to watch” when he got on campus last summer. Now he has his chance.
