Gus and Kristi Malzahn bravely hosted each Auburn football position group at their family home during spring football, and they weren’t done yet.
On Monday night, the coach and his wife welcomed the Auburn Tiger Paws. Unlike on the boys’ nights, where the team ate pizza and wings, the ladies enjoyed Taziki’s — a local spot with some healthier options.
Gus is used to being in a house full of women, with the exception of his new grandson, and his start to the week was no different.
Oops forgot pic! Love these Tiger Paws and so thankful their night is #Tazikis not #pizzaandwings ##WarEagle #theysmilemorethantheguys! pic.twitter.com/EeVNQphqnY

Baseball takes on Blazers
Coming off its big series win against Mississippi State, Auburn baseball will wrap up its season series against UAB on Tuesday.
First pitch is set for 6 p.m. CT at Plainsman Park and the game will be broadcast on SEC Network+. Senior Calvin Coker is the projected starter for Auburn.
When these two teams first met in early March, Auburn scored 8 runs (after two 3-run homers courtesy of Josh Anthony and Brett Wright) in a memorable come-from-behind win.
Basketball adds an assistant
Pearl announced the newest Auburn basketball staff addition on Monday. After two stints at Arkansas-Little Rock, former Tigers point guard Wes Flanigan will be Pearl’s newest assistant coach.
Flanigan played on the Plains from 1993 to 1997 and was a four-year starter. During that time he also scored 1,228 points (that ranks 22nd on the program’s all-time scoring list) and dished out 573 assists. Additionally, the Little Rock, Ark., native was named to the All-SEC team as a freshman and then as a junior.
Here’s what Pearl had to say about his newest staff member, who helped Arkansas-Little Rock to its first-ever outright Sun Belt title during the 2015-2016 season. The Trojans also defeated No. 5 Purdue in the first round of the 2016 NCAA Tournament.
A former Auburn standout is returning to The Plains. Welcome back home, @CoachFlanigan!

Tweet of the day
A great take from a former Auburn football coach.
At times when I feel lost, I try to remember this: Sometimes you find yourself in the middle of nowhere, and sometimes in the middle of nowhere, you find yourself. #WordsofChizdom
