Ironing out wrinkles 

Auburn’s offense wasn’t too thrilling in its home-opening win against Georgia Southern last weekend. Offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey went vanilla with plays to likely keep Clemson from gaining more film on his new offense.

But expect something a little different in South Carolina this weekend.

The Tigers will need to complete some explosive plays and create on offense to stand toe to toe with the defending champions.

And that takes no pressure off of Auburn’s defense (particularly the defensive front), either. Junior dual-threat QB Kelly Bryant was impressive in a 56-3 win over Kent State, and the visiting Tigers will have their hands full.

Auburn quarterback Jarrett Stidham is going to need to complete a few more passes like this one to upset No. 3 Clemson:

Undefeated in Puerto Rico

Travel was good to the Tigers volleyball team over the weekend.

First, Auburn defeated No. 16 North Carolina (3-1) and then took down North Carolina State (3-2) in the ACC/SEC Puerto Rico Classico.

The conference may have gained an edge, too, since Florida also went 2-0 during the tournament.
