Arkansas Razorbacks podcast: Let the coaching search begin!

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark . — Welcome to SEC Country’s  daily Arkansas Borderline Erotic podcast, the most-listened-to Razorbacks podcast in the country. In this episode, John Nabors reacts to the firing of Bret Bielema and whom Arkansas should target next as their head coach.

SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way coach Bret Bielema  described how he felt after Arkansas defeated Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.

Here is a rundown of some of the topics discussed in the 308th episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast:

Arkansas can make a splash in the coaching carousel

John Nabors started the podcast by reacting to Bret Bielema being fired as the Razorback head football coach. It didn’t come as a surprise to see Bielema fired, but the timing of his firing was interesting. He was literally pulled into a room while coming off the field and was made aware he won’t be back next year. So without a permanent athletic director or head football coach, where does Arkansas go from here? If the Hogs can find a way to get Gus Malzahn, then consider it a home run hire. Mike Norvell from Memphis or Brent Venables from Clemson are options too. Either way, Arkansas is a program with a lot of potential and support. If they play their cards right, they could be in great position to improve the program tremendously.

Nonsense: So many coaching changes

In the nonsensical part of the podcast, Nabors brings up the nonsensical story of the SEC coaching carousel.
