FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Borderline Erotic podcast, the most-listened-to Razorbacks podcast in the country. In this episode, John Nabors is joined by Evin Demirel of heritageofsports.com as they discuss his new book and what record TJ Hammonds could break.
SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way coach Bret Bielema described how he felt after Arkansas defeated Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.
Here is a rundown of some of the topics discussed in the 296th episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast:
T.J. Hammonds could actually break an Arkansas record
Nabors started the podcast by discussing what record Hogs running back T.J. Hammonds could break this season. Hammonds has been a hot topic of conversation among Razorbacks fans with the lack of carries he’s been getting. What’s crazy is that he actually could break a record that is held by former Hogs great Felix Jones. If Hammonds keeps his average yards per carry up, he could realistically smash that record this season. With Arkansas only having three games remaining, it may be a long shot for Hammonds to realize the record. All it will take is the coaching staff to put him in position to dominate the rest of the way. He has the ability, but will Bielema give him the opportunity?
Evin Demirel joins the podcast
In the nonsensical part of the podcast, Nabors brought in Demirel of heritageofsports.com to discuss his new book. African-American Athletes of Arkansas.
