FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Borderline Erotic podcast, the most-listened-to Razorbacks podcast in the country. In this episode, John Nabors previews the Arkansas vs. TCU game scheduled for this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way coach Bret Bielema described how he felt after Arkansas defeated Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.
Here is a rundown of some topics discussed in the 249th episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast:
Arkansas football: Some TCU background
Nabors started the podcast by previewing the TCU Horned Frogs season so far, as well as their history as a football program. TCU has had a lot of success under head coach Gary Patterson the past 10 years. The Frogs had a slight setback last season, only winning six games after back-to-back seasons of at least 11 wins. Patterson knows that this could be a bounce back season for his team, especially since he’s returning Kenny Hill at quarterback. Both teams need to have a solid showing in their biggest nonconference game this season.
Nonsense: The Tennessee trash can
In the nonsensical part of the podcast, Nabors brought up the nonsensical story of the Tennessee Volunteers’ new mascot that debuted on Monday night. For whatever reason, the Vols thought it would be really motivating to have a plastic trash can being held up on the sidelines. There have been many unique ways coaches have tried to motivate their players, but a trash can might be a first.
