Arkansas WR Jared Cornelius exits game against Texas A&M with ankle injury

Jared Cornelius sustained an injury on Saturday.

The Arkansas wide receiver sustained a left ankle injury in the Razorbacks’ game against Texas A&M at AT&T Stadium, per a press box announcement. As relayed by SEC Country’s Trent Shadid, Cornelius wasn’t able to put weight on the left. Cornelius went to the locker room on the back on a cart, and a member of the training staff was holding the player’s leg down.

Cornelius is doubtful to return.

Cornelius had 3 catches for 35 yards before the injury. He had 2 catches for 8 yards entering the day.
