Sorry, Jim Harbaugh. You’ll be paying full price for your steaks this season no matter how badly you beat your opponents.
Ruth’s Chris steakhouse in Ann Arbor is not bringing back its “Score Big” promotion, which allowed fans to earn a discount on their dinner based on Michigan’s margin of victory in 2016. The discount went up to 50 percent not including alcohol, so fans couldn’t quite take full advantage after a 78-0 win over Rutgers.
However, there won’t be any discounts this season. Ruth’s Chris is not offering the promotion in 2017, according to a report from MLive.
Hundreds of Michigan fans took advantage of the promotion last season when the Wolverines rolled to a 9-0 start with an average victory margin of 37.3 points per game. Those diners included Harbaugh, who loves a good steak as much as anybody in Ann Arbor.
