It was a good week for the SEC in college basketball.
All four ranked SEC teams — Florida, Kentucky, Texas A&M and Alabama — moved up in the updated AP Top 25 poll, which was released on Monday afternoon.
The Gators moved up one spot to No. 6, while the Wildcats also moved up a position to No. 7. The two schools are just outside the top five, which features Duke, Kansas, Michigan State, Villanova and Notre Dame.
The Aggies were the biggest movers of the SEC teams, moving up seven spots to No. 9. They are one of only two undefeated teams remaining in the SEC — along with Mississippi State — after winning their first six games of the season.
The Crimson Tide moved up one spot to No. 24. Their biggest news of the week came during their first loss of the season, however, as a series of ejections led to them playing 3-on-5 for a considerable amount of time during Saturday’s loss to Minnesota.
