The season opener between Alabama and Florida State is growing close, now only six days away as the brand new Mercedes-Benz Stadium awaits the No. 1 and No. 3 teams in the nation.
Tickets to the game are a hot commodity, and Alabama students are doing all they can to get a chance to see their Crimson Tide take on the Seminoles, including camping out outside Coleman Coliseum.
Per ESPN’s Marty Smith, students are surrounding the basketball arena and spending all night there for a chance to buy one of the 600 tickets remaining in the lower level for Saturday’s game. The tickets are $50 a piece, which is a bargain compared to what they are going for on the secondary market. The cheapest ticket that will get you in the stadium on Stubhub is currently listed at $275.
