Alabama DB Minkah Fitzpatrick wearing support strip, warms up before game vs. Mississippi State

Minkah Fitzpatrick’s status for Saturday’s game against Mississippi State still hasn’t been confirmed, but this is encouraging news regarding the Alabama defensive back.

After leaving injured twice during last week’s game against LSU, Fitzpatrick was warming up prior to the matchup with the Bulldogs wearing a support strip on his left hamstring, according to SEC Country’s Marq Burnett.

Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban said earlier in the week that Fitzpatrick had done well in practice and that he was preparing to play against Mississippi State, but added that they’d make a decision closer to kickoff.

Alabama and Mississippi State kick off at 7:10 p.m. ET on ESPN.
