The career of Adrian Peterson is winding down, and as it does, we’ll be able to take a look back at all of his feats with wonder and awe.
It’s not over yet, though, as Peterson is only 36 yards away from beating out Jim Brown for a spot in NFL record books.
With 79 rushing yards on Sunday, Adrian Peterson passed Marcus Allen and Edgerrin James into 12th on the NFL's career rushing list.

Peterson is one of the most decorated Sooners of all time. He was also an instrumental part of the Minnesota Vikings before his contract wasn’t extended after ten years with the franchise. He spent time with the New Orleans Saints, and is now with the Arizona Cardinals.
There’s no arguing that Adrian Peterson will go down as one of the best running backs of this era. He was consistently all the Vikings had on offense, and somehow made it work every single time. His time with Oklahoma is unassailable too, he left Norman only 76 yards behind Billy Sims’ all-time rushing record. He’ll likely be one of the top ten rushers in NFL history after this weekend is said and done.
