Safe to say Aaron Murray’s mom is not a fan of Auburn.
As the Tigers hold a 16-7 lead over the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs at halftime, a Facebook from the former Georgia quarterback’s mother went viral as she called out Auburn fans after an incident that occurred during the 2010 game. In that game Auburn defensive tackle Nick Fairly had a number of controversial hits in the game.
Murry’s mother recapped a number of Murray’s injuries from the game and add that she is still in fact bitter.
“Surrounded by medical staff, the Auburn fans were on their feet cheering while Fairley strutted around like a peacock getting accolades and cheers from adults, students, parents and coaches. My disdain for Auburn has not lessened, I’m still bitter,” Murray said.
Auburn won the 2010 game 49-31. You can read Murray’s full Facebook post, here.
