After last weekend’s win in Bedlam, more and more College Football Playoff predictions are now favoring Oklahoma.
They also give the Sooners a 61 percent chance of beating TCU on Saturday. If Oklahoma beats the Horned Frogs, their playoff odds rise to 58 percent, and their national title odds rise to 12 percent.
TCU isn’t the only ranked game left on the Sooners’ schedule. To end the season, Oklahoma will host West Virginia, which will likely be ranked heading into the contest.
Once again, all the Sooners need to do is win out. They still have two ranked games on their schedule, and will get another one in the Big 12 Championship. If Oklahoma simply wins every game from here on out, they’re going to get into the playoff. It’s going to be a stressful ride for fans, but the stress should come on Saturdays, not Tuesdays.
