WalletHub recently conducted some research to find out, and iTunes, Starbucks and Walmart were the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 picks, respectively.

The personal finance site determined its results by comparing the 50 most popular options across five major categories: how popular the cards are; how much of a discount you can buy them for; how much you can sell them for; how much people like the retailer; and shipping fees.

iTunes, Starbucks and Walmart came out on top thanks to its $0 shipping fee and high popularity score. All three also had higher resale values.
