Sons of the American Revolution host dedication
The Georgia Sons of the American Revolution hosted the dedication of a historical marker honoring those involved in the Battle of Vann's Creek-Cherokee Ford that occurred on February 11, 1779. The marker is placed in Richard B. Russell State Park at the beach area where the battle took place.
