In Loving Memory of Richard Eugene Seals

August 3, 1947- January 3, 2021

Richard E. Seals, age 73, was born in Ashburn, GA August 3rd, 1947. He died January 3, 2021 of complications related to COVID-19. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, and is survived by his wife, Claudia, his children, Regina C. Pisch and Richard C. Seals, his brother Wayne Seals, and his sister, Leigh Blaylock. In addition to his wife and siblings, Richard leaves behind his grandchildren: Jada Chen, Richard Chen, Angela Myer, Chris Seals, Benjamin Seals, Joseph Seals and Anabelle Seals, and his great grandchild Ava Myer.

Richard was a member of the CAP (Civil Air Patrol) where he earned the Frank Borman Falcon Award in 1969. He entered the Army's Officer Candidate School where he graduated with the rank of 1st Lieutenant. He became a Ranger and served 2 tours in Vietnam, leaving the Army August 25th, 1969.

The majority of his working life was spent with Lennox Industries with whom he retired. His last years were spent caring for his wife of 53 years, Claudia Seals and spending time with his family. He particularly loved going fishing with his son. He will be missed. At Richard's request, and due to the current state of the Country during the pandemic, there will be no funeral or memorial services.
