KINCAID, Richard David

Richard David Kincaid, 83, passed away at home and surrounded by his loving family on January 4, 2021. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Carolyn Kincaid; his three sisters Linda Kincaid, Doris Kay, and Jeanette Griffin; his two children Richard Kincaid Jr wife Denise Kincaid, and daughter Shay Bailey, husband Jeff Bailey; and his much-loved grandchildren Kyle and Maddy Bailey. Richard was born in 1937 in Rossville, GA to Murrell and Lucille Kincaid.

He graduated from the University of Tennessee of Chattanooga, where he was part of the Kappa Sigma fraternity for over 60 years. He enlisted in the Army where he served for 26 years, retiring as a LTC. He was also a member of the Mt. Scott Masonic Lodge #540.

Richard Kincaid was a man of deep faith and devotion and served the Lord in many ways throughout the course of his life. He served as a leader of his church, Jonesboro First United Methodist Church, for many years. In 2014, he was recognized as an honorary member for life. He will be missed greatly by his loved ones but he is now peacefully at home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
