HANES, Johnny Boyce Born November 11, 1942.

Died October 17, 2021.

Of Lilburn, GA was a fifth generation Atlantan who attended Tucker High School and the University of Georgia. He was a real estate agent and then broker for his entire career. Johnny was a lifelong UGA football and Atlanta Braves baseball fan. He was a fine deep sea fisherman and captain of the waters in the Gulf of Mexico. He loved golfing and growing tomatoes every Summer to share with friends and family. Most importantly, Johnny loved his family and friends loyally and passionately. Surviving are his daughters Gillian Morgan Hanes, Courtney Elizabeth Enix and preceded in death by son Jeffrey Kennan Hanes. He leaves behind two grandchildren, Lindsay and Chris Botteron and Christopher Enix. Two sisters, Brenda and Ronnie Minor and Cindy and Steve Gray. Many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The memorial celebrating John's life will be held next Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Cross Anglican Church of Loganville. 3836 Oak Grove Rd., Loganville GA.
