GARDNER, Carol
Mrs. Carol Gardner, age 85, of Decatur went home to be with the Lord September 13, 2021. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Gardner is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert A. Gardner; son, Howard Gardner; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Doc Palmer; granddaughters, Abby and Brittany Palmer.
A funeral service will be held Monday, September 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Although Carol loved flowers, she loved children even more. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Carol's memory. A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
