ELLET, Charles Monier "Chuck"

Charles Monier "Chuck" Ellet, 84, passed away on October 22, 2021. He was born January 7, 1937 in St. Louis, Missouri to Dorothy Monier Ellet and Alfred Lee Ellet. He graduated from The University of Oklahoma and was a proud member of the OU Marching Band and Delta Tau Delta Fraternity.

Chuck served in the U.S. Army before joining Armco Steel and then IBM. After retiring from IBM, Chuck worked for Sprint/MCI and volunteered at the Atlanta Airport and Northside Hospital Auxiliary.

Chuck was a life-long music lover. He sang with the Choral Guild of Atlanta, Peachtree Road Methodist Church choir, and the Emory Community Chorus, among others.

Chuck is survived by his wife Kelly Wilhoit, children: Kim Ellet, Karen Daniel (Ronny), and Steve Ellet (Tracy); 7 grandchildren: Adam Daniel (Katie), Kelly Daniel, Kay Arasin, Ali Arasin, Avery Arasin, Julia Ellet, Nicholas Ellet; great-grandson Charles Daniel; and stepsons Jon Wilhoit (Charlotte), Sam Wilhoit (Wendy), and Adam Wilhoit (Pam) and eight step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life service will be held November 21, 2:00 PM, at The Whitlock Inn, 57 Whitlock Ave., SW, Marietta, GA
