On Sunday morning, a gunman opened fire inside a rural Texas church and killed at least 26 people in the largest mass shooting in the state’s history, according to officials.

At least 19 others were injured in the shooting at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas.

The shooter, identified as Devin Patrick Kelley, was later found dead. He did not have a license to carry a gun.
