A 52-year-old man who disappeared at Emory University Hospital Midtown has been found safe, hospital spokesman Lance Skelly said Thursday night.
Charles Wilson, who was a visitor, not a patient, had been missing from the facility at 550 Peachtree St. since 11 a.m. Wednesday, police said.
Wilson, who is from Columbus, left the area on foot while his caretaker was dropping off someone else, Sgt. Thomas Manns of the Emory University Police Department said. It was not the first time he had lost contact with his caretaker, Manns said.
No information about how and where Wilson was found was immediately available.
