A student accidentally sprayed mace inside of an academic building at Georgia Gwinnett College causing an evacuation, a school spokeswoman said.
The student was trying to test the mace, and accidentally sprayed it in the building, Channel 2 Action News reported. She was startled and ran away.

The college ordered all building occupants to evacuate at 1:39 p.m. The scene was clear by 2:30 p.m., and no one was injured.
Classes have been canceled for the rest of the day in Building H1, the college tweeted. Building H houses the School of Science and Technology and the School of Health Sciences, according to GGC’s website.
