An elderly woman and two adult children died in a mobile home fire Saturday night near Cumming.
Sue Iams, 77, 52-year-old Thomas Iams 47-year old Kimberly Iams died in the fire, which a motorist spotted around 10:45 p.m. while driving past a home in the 8900 block of Little Mill Road, said Capt. Tim House with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.
The passerby continued to a Forsyth County fire station less than a quarter-mile away to report it.
Forsyth County Fire Capt. Jason Shivers said firefighters were on the scene by 10:47 and performed a "quick knockdown on the fire, but unfortunately, the deaths had already occurred."
The fire, which destroyed the home, was ruled an accident Sunday, House said.
