The "On the Road to Equality" bus tour rolls into Atlanta this week.
The tour, which is sponsored by the Human Rights Campaign, is here during the annual Atlanta Pride Festival.
The purpose of the tour is to raise awareness and to empower the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities to advocate for themselves.
The bus will be stationed at the Atlanta Pride Festival and will contain an exhibit on such topics as health, rights, faith and the workplace. There will also be a program on the state of equality.
