Authorities in Tennessee have arrested a man sought in connection with a police chase in Cobb County earlier this week, Channel 2 Action News reported Friday.
Rodrick Lanier was taken into custody near Memphis. Investigators believe he was in a Dodge Magnum pickup truck that Cobb police tried to pull over for speeding on I-75 on Wednesday.
The truck sped away and later was found abandoned near a business on Franklin Road near Marietta. Its three occupants were presumed to have fled on foot, prompting a police search of the area.
Investigators said they hope to have Lanier back in Cobb next week.
