A tornado warning has been issued the counties surrounding Atlanta.

All of metro Atlanta is under a tornado watch until Wednesday afternoon ahead of a day of strong storms.

A strong storm system is moving into Georgia from Alabama, with another system moving in from the west later Wednesday. These systems will bring severe storms, hail and the possibility of tornadoes.

It is expected to be an all-day event.
