Smyrna Police host safe driving classes on Aug. 1, 8

Smyrna Police will hold their first Smyrna Teenager and Parent Driving Classes 6-8 p.m. Aug. 1 and Aug. 8 in the Dogwood Room, Smyrna Community Center, 200 Village Green Circle SE, Smyrna. A new Smyrna Teenager and Parent Driving Class will be offered by the Special Operations Unit of the Smyrna Police Department in August.

The two free sessions will be 6-8 p.m. Aug. 1 and Aug. 8 in the Dogwood Room, Smyrna Community Center, 200 Village Green Circle SE, Smyrna.

The new class for teenagers, ages 15 to 21, and their parents will be taught by members of the department’s Selected Traffic Enforcement Unit (S.T.E.P) and the Community Relations Unit (C.R.U):
