Senior housing proposed for Spaghetti Junction tower

A developer is pushing a plan to revive the Spaghetti Junction tower, aka the Presidential Hotel. Peacock Partnership wants to convert the now-shuttered property into senior housing. The plan has received some preliminary approvals, but will still be debated. Estimates say tearing down the building would cost $2 million because of its unusual construction. It is unclear when construction would start if the plan is approved.
