Sandy Springs City Council has approved a zoning request that will allow a 24-hour fitness operation to set up shop at the Prado complex on Roswell Road.
Life Time Fitness will begin construction on the 357,000-square-foot facility, in the space originally set aside for a Home Depot, next spring.
The center should open by late next year, said Jeff Melby, vice president of development for the firm. He expects it to have 6,500 members about five years after opening.
