Police are offering a reward in connection with a burglary at a church in Peachtree City.

Peachtree City police responded to a call at 7:15 a.m. Sunday to the First Baptist Church on Willowbend Road and discovered the church had been burglarized and audio-visual equipment stolen.

Witnesses told police that a "suspicious person" had been seen around the church in the days before the break-in. He was described as a white male, 6-4 and 260 pounds with a shaved head. He was wearing a gray "hoodie" sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact Peachtree City police at 770-631-2510. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered to information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
