Registration open for Cobb citizens public safety academy

The next session of the Cobb County Citizens Public Safety Academy begins Sept. 20, and applications are being accepted to participate in the classes.

The free 13-week program lets citizens get an inside look at the county’s fire, police and emergency communications departments. Classes will meet each Tuesday through Dec. 13. Classes are limited to 25 residents approved on a first come, first serve basis.

Registration ends July 29.
