Cobb County police identified a man found shot to death Thursday afternoon as Adrian Thomas Coleman, 25, of Marietta.
Detectives are looking for two men seen running in the apartment complex after the deadly shots were fired.
Officers arriving at the Lantern Ridge complex off Roswell Road in East Cobb found Coleman fatally shot just inside an apartment, Sgt. Dana Pierce with Cobb County police told the AJC.
Witnesses reported seeing two black men running in the area where the victim was found, Pierce said.
The men were both described as being about 5 feet, 9 inches tall with slim builds. One was wearing a green and white "polo" type shirt and the other was wearing a gray T-shirt, Pierce said.
“They were seen running in a northerly direction in the apartment complex," Pierce said. "That’s who we’re seeking talk to.”
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact Cobb County police.
