Sandy Springs officials are taking nominations for its Martin Luther King Humanitarian Award.
The city launched the award five years ago, to honor outstanding community and philanthropic service. It is awarded during the city’s MLK celebration in January.
Nomination forms are available at City Hall, 7840 Roswell Road, and on the city’s website, www.sandyspringsga.org. Nominations, which include a 100-word essay, are due Dec. 3.
