Deal signs bill extending Delta tax break
Delta Air Lines will get a $30 million tax break over two years under legislation signed into law Wednesday by Gov. Nathan Deal.
House Bill 322 preserves the tax break the Atlanta-based airline has enjoyed for several years but that was set to expire.

President search for NGCSU down to two
The State Board of Regents will select the next president of North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega from two finalists, officials announced Tuesday.
They are: Bonita Jacobs, executive director of the National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students at the University of North Texas, and Gerry St. Amand, vice president for university advancement at Northern Kentucky University.
The current college president, David Potter, is retiring. He has served as president since 2005.

Former New England Patriot and Georgia Bulldog wide receiver Hason Graham is offering a free youth football camp on May 21 at Fayette County High School. Camp instructors will be current and former University of Georgia and National Football League players as well as Fayette High staff.
