A 20-year-old man who was reported missing from the recent Rainbow Family counterculture gathering in North Georgia has been found.
“CJ Elliott has been located in Minnesota. He is alive,” Lumpkin County Sheriff Stacy Jarrard posted on Facebook.
Curtis Jay “CJ” Elliott, 20, was seen at the gathering in the Chattahoochee National Forest sometime between July 1 and July 4, Jarrard said in an earlier Facebook post. He had not spoken to family or friends since July 5.

“It is uncharacteristic of CJ to not contact his parents,” the sheriff said.
No other details about Elliott being found have been released.
“Thank you for all the prayers,” Jarrard said. “We will post more details as they are known to us.”
