A Marietta man was killed Wednesday evening when his car crossed a median and was struck by two oncoming vehicles.

Wade Wallace, 56, was trapped in the wreckage of his Honda Civic and pronounced dead at the scene after the wreck on North Marietta Parkway around 7:30 p.m., Marietta Police  Officer Michael Gardner said.

Gardner said Wallace was traveling east on North Marietta Parkway between Wallace Road and Roswell Road when his car crossed the grass median and sideswiped a Toyota Highlander driven by William Bosworth, 59, of Marietta. Wallace's car was then hit on the driver's side by a Ford Freestyle driven by Janice Haddock-Riera, 48, of Sandy Springs.

Bosworth was treated at the scene for minor injuries, and Haddock-Riera was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital in good condition, Gardner said.

The investigation continues, but no charges are expected, Gardner said. Anyone with information on the wreck is asked to call Gardner at 770-794-5266.
