An Atlanta dermatology practice has obtained accreditation for the 12th consecutive year.
The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) awarded accreditation to the Dermatology Associates of Atlanta.
This is a major accomplishment for Dermatology Associates in that not every medical practice that seeks accreditation receives it, said their founder, Dr. Edmond Griffin.
“It is quite an honor for Dermatology Associates to be continually recognized by this non-profit, independent and internationally known association,” said Griffin in a statement. “We believe that our patients deserve the highest quality of care and safety. Going through the rigorous accreditation process has further solidified these goals and our commitment to our patients.”
AAAHC accreditation is granted to those practices and establishments that are solely outpatient medical care. There are more than 3,600 ambulatory health care organizations in the United States are accredited, according to Dermatology Associates.
“We are committed to continuing to uphold the AAAHC’s rigorous standards – providing you with the safest and most effective medical care from head to toe,” said Griffin.
